Effects of climate change and land use/cover change on the volume of the Qinghai Lake in China

Qinghai Lake is the largest saline lake in China. The change volume an indicator of variation water resources and their response to climate on Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau (QTP) present study quantitatively evaluated effects land use/cover (LUCC) China from 1958 2018, which crucial for management Basin. To explore LUCC volume, we analyzed level observation data multi-period use/land cover (LULC) by using improved estimation method Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Trade-offs (InVEST) model. Our results showed that decreased at rate 0.08 m/a 2004 increased 0.16 2018. 105.40×108 m3 2004, with 2.24×108 m3/a, whereas it 74.02×108 4.66×108 m3/a. Further, Basin changed warm-dry warm-humid. From increase precipitation decrease evaporation controlled were main climatic factors affecting change. 1977 measured yield “increase-decrease-increase” fluctuation obviously different. contribution was −0.76% 100.76%; corresponding rates 8.57% 91.43% respectively, −4.25% 104.25% respectively. Quantitative analysis revealed scientific significance LUCC, as well individual combined QTP. This can contribute regional sustainable development
